Worth the investment

As a first-time buyer, I was really focused on getting the most bang for my buck with the IDOL Academy enrollment deal. I signed up during their early bird discount period, which saved me a good chunk of money. I primarily wanted the online learning development certification and access to the IDOL talent pool. The whole experience felt very professional and I feel confident about my career pivot now. The value for the price paid was absolutely there, especially with the discount I snagged.

Good value, some delays

I enrolled in the IDOL Academy program and found the content, especially the instructional design portfolio building, to be very comprehensive. The payment plan options were a huge plus, making it accessible. I did notice that some of the materials for the Camtasia video editing course took a few days longer to access than expected after purchase. Overall, it's a solid program for the price, though they could improve the onboarding for course access.

Loved my LXD training!

I just completed the Learning Experience Design training and I am so excited about what I learned! The modules were super engaging, and the Articulate Storyline tutorials really helped me level up my skills. I'm already looking forward to my next course. Definitely shopping here again!

Hey, looking at the IDOL Academy but also kinda wondering about Devlin Peck's stuff or even Coursera. Is IDOL really that much better for getting a job?

L Linda Nguyen 2 weeks ago
Totally different vibes. Devlin Peck is good for specific skills, and Coursera is more academic. IDOL Academy is super practical, like, they really focus on portfolio building and getting you ready for actual roles. I found it way more hands-on.

My friend did IDOL and got a job pretty quickly. I think the talent pool access and job support they offer is a huge plus compared to just learning skills on Coursera.

Thinking of signing up for the next IDOL Academy cohort. Anyone know when those usually kick off?

M Mary Allen 1 month ago
They have a few starts per year. I think there's usually one in January, then again around June and September. You'll probably find the exact dates on their site.

Yeah, I signed up for the one that started in November last year. They seem to do pretty regular intakes, so you won't have to wait ages.

Are there payment plans for the IDOL Academy course? It's a bit of an investment up front.

A Alex C. 3 weeks ago
Yep, they definitely offer payment plans. I used one, made it a lot easier to manage the cost.

Yeah, I think you can spread it out over several months. Check their FAQs, it'll have the details there.

I saw something about an early bird discount. Does that apply to everything, or just specific courses?

L Leah Wright 5 days ago
Usually, the early bird is for the main IDOL Academy enrollment. It's a pretty good chunk off, like a few hundred bucks. But it's only available for a limited time when a new cohort opens.

Yeah, and you can't stack it with other deals, so pick the best one if you have multiple options.
